Customers often come to us here at Brewster Screen Printing and ask us a simple question: How much does a custom t-shirt cost? Ahh yes, a very good question indeed and an important one for anyone that is looking to outfit their staff, organize a corporate outing or field a kickball team. And because we get this question so often, we decided to write an article explaining to you the factors that affect the pricing of custom t-shirts.
The shirt: We can screen print on any type of shirt and many types are available, as you can see by browsing our catalog. The least expensive shirt is a standard, white, 100% cotton tee. A long-sleeved, performance shirt or a polo will cost more.
The art: A simple one-color design in one location on the shirt will be the most economical. Art which includes several colors and locations on the shirt adds to the cost.
The number of shirts: Are we printing a dozen or five dozen or ten dozen? The price per shirt will decrease as the total number of shirts increases.
So, when considering your budget for a custom t-shirt project, keep these three factors in mind. And don’t worry, our expert will help you to select a shirt and design art which is most appropriate for your project.
